Cleaner Dishes and Glassware
There is always a build-up of dishwasher detergent around the impellers of a dishwasher. The impellers force the water and the detergent through the system for dishwashing to occur. When there is detergent build-up around the impellers, there is less detergent put into the water and the result is poorer cleansing of items to be washed. To correct this problem, do the following:
1. Turn on the water faucet in the sink to which the dishwasher is attached (cold water is OK).
2. Turn on the dishwasher and let it fill with water in its bottom.
3. Stop the dishwasher.
4 Open the door.
5. Add a jar of "Tang" breakfast drink powder to the water at the bottom of the dishwasher.
6. Close the dishwasher door and run it through its cleaning cycles. LEAVE THE SINK WATER RUNNING DURING THIS CLEANING (NOTE: Whenever filling the dishwasher, turn on the sink faucet. It makes the washing of items more effective. Water faucet can be turned off once the dishwasher is filled with water.)
